Porsche Tequipment offers a Manthey Performance Kit for the current 911 GT3 for even better performance on circuits. The 911 GT3 with Manthey Performance Kit lapped the Nürburgring's Nordschleife in 6:55.73 minutes. This is exactly 4.19 seconds faster than the 911 GT3 without kit.
The modifications are focused on aerodynamics and chassis components. The new Performance Kit was developed in close collaboration between the Porsche engineers in Weissach and the Nordschleife specialists from Manthey in Meuspath. The Porsche Tequipment circuit-optimised components are sold through Porsche Centres.
Manthey Racing GmbH have an impeccable record in motorsport. Based at the Nurburgring in Germany, the company is 51% owned by Porsche AG and is integral to the Porsche Motorsport division across competition and road car projects. Among other programmes, Manthey operate and manage the 911 RSR team which currently competes in the World Endurance Championship including Le Mans.
On 14 June 2021, Lars Kern took a 911 GT2 RS with the Manthey Performance kit around the Nurburgring in a production car lap record time of 6.43.30. Now Porsche customers can purchase this performance kit for their GT2 RS to maximise the performance potential of their vehicle. 911 GT3 RS customers can also purchase the performance package for added downforce and chassis developments.
A Flying Doctor from Manthey Racing will attend the centre to assist the technician during fitting of any Manthey Performance Kits.
